Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal cybersecurity systems including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption protocols
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for 500+ federal employees across remote and Dallas-based offices
- Lead system integration projects for new federal compliance requirements (FISMA, NIST)
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime requirements
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal security protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on national security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications required
- Proficiency in AWS/GCP cloud environments and federal cloud mandates
- Demonstrated experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex network issues
