Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for large-scale IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with state strategic goals.
- Manage complex budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Coordinate closely with federal agencies, state departments, and local government partners.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies using proven methodologies.
- Ensure strict compliance with government procurement regulations, cybersecurity standards, and privacy laws.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior project managers and foster a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a government, federal, or large enterprise environment.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background check and security clearance.
