Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for federal clients in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and security analysts.
- Manage and update security documentation, policies, and incident reports for stakeholder reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security, network engineering, or cybersecurity within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and identity management solutions (Okta, ADFS).
- Deep knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
