Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives for VA medical centers
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS/GCP platforms
- Oversee HIPAA-compliant electronic health records systems
- Coordinate with federal IT compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Train staff on new cybersecurity protocols
- Conduct system vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with Portland VA leadership on tech strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years federal IT security experience
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification
- Expertise in FedRAMP/AWS GovCloud environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Clearable background investigation required
- Experience with VA VISTA systems advantageous
