Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Implement and maintain security protocols in accordance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Lead incident response efforts to mitigate cyber threats and recover data.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycles.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and anomalies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Experience with federal security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance (or willingness to do so).
