Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex federal IT systems and software solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and DOJ standards.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement necessary security controls to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architectural roadmaps.
- Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage and troubleshoot high-availability infrastructure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for federal stakeholders and auditors.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in federal contracting, systems engineering, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C# programming languages.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
