Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for federal desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.</li><li>Assist in the administration and maintenance of the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).</li><li>Monitor system logs and performance metrics to identify potential issues before they impact operations.</li><li>Document technical procedures and maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets.</li><li>Support the implementation and enforcement of federal IT security policies and standards (e.g., NIST).</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li><strong>Citizenship Required:</strong> Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet federal employment eligibility requirements.</li><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience in a technical support role).</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong> CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus but not required for entry-level applicants.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li><strong>Clearance:</strong> Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.</li><li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.</li></ul>
