As a Federal Systems Analyst, you will bridge the gap between complex government requirements and technical execution. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of federal IT systems to identify optimization opportunities and security vulnerabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for state-sponsored projects, ensuring adherence to strict federal compliance standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, project managers, and government stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for high-traffic government applications.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior analysts to maintain high code quality.
- Develop detailed documentation for system architecture, API integrations, and security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive troubleshooting measures to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in federal or state government IT consulting.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance if necessary.
