Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT systems and networks for federal agencies.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Enforce strict federal cybersecurity protocols, ensuring compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- System Administration: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize IT resources to minimize downtime.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of new software and hardware solutions.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure the timely delivery of services and hardware.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Training & Support: Provide advanced technical support and conduct training sessions for federal staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal IT contracting or systems engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), network protocols, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of FISMA, DIACAP, and other federal compliance frameworks.
