Responsibilities
- Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain complex federal network architectures to ensure high availability and security.
- System Administration: Oversee server operations, patch management, and system upgrades for government client environments.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Enforce strict federal security protocols (e.g., NIST, FISMA) and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and 24/7 on-call support for critical systems and end-users.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including configuration management plans and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud services, Windows Server/Linux administration, and VPN technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership and technical teams.
