Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain secure network architectures for federal clients, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive government data against cyber threats and breaches.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex hardware and software issues within the federal environment.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of IT modernization projects, adhering to strict federal deadlines.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, security logs, and compliance reports.
- Certification Oversight: Ensure all staff maintain current relevant certifications and compliance with DoD and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) standards.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret or Secret clearance (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering within the federal sector.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNP certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to brief senior leadership on technical status.
