Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal information systems, ensuring compliance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement necessary patches.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal stakeholders and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with system engineers to design and deploy scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or support within the federal sector.
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
