Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Implement and enforce federal security protocols (FISMA) to protect sensitive data.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software systems.
- Conduct system upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning exercises.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into legacy systems.
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate system logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or Cisco CCNP is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system administration or a related federal role.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
