Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure and network systems to ensure maximum uptime and data integrity.
- Conduct in-depth system analysis and provide technical recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security standards (FISMA), and agency policies.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex software and hardware solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and drive digital transformation projects.
- Mentor junior IT staff, conducting code reviews and providing technical training sessions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, incident reports, and status briefings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in federal or civilian government IT environments.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in network protocols, cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity protocols.
- Strong experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and database management systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in a regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
