Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for federal and state government clients.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Lead the modernization of legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration with current cloud technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and junior staff members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans.
- Manage troubleshooting and incident response for critical government applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or highly regulated industry.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a government contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, including VPN, firewall management, and data encryption.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
