Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex federal information systems and web applications.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security standards, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Conduct thorough system vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet strict timelines and budget constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and analysts.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and cloud service procurement.
- Document technical requirements, architecture designs, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in federal IT environments or consulting.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies (VMware), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols, data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA), and secure coding practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with senior leadership and government stakeholders.
