In this role, you will oversee the planning, programming, and implementation of IT systems and projects. You will ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FedRAMP, and provide expert technical support to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement complex IT solutions and systems infrastructure for federal applications.
- Administer and maintain network environments, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal cybersecurity protocols and IT security policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IT staff and technical support personnel.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and system specifications for review by senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in federal IT systems administration, network engineering, or cybersecurity.
- Certifications: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred; ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, SQL, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior officials and writing technical documentation.
