Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical government IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive public data
- Provide technical leadership for municipal projects including smart city initiatives
- Coordinate with department heads to align technology solutions with strategic goals
- Train staff on new systems and ensure compliance with government IT standards
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in government IT or regulated industry environments
- Advanced certifications in CompTIA Security+ and/or AWS Solutions Architect
- Proven expertise in network administration and enterprise security frameworks
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
