Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments and Active Directory infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee cloud migrations (AWS/Azure) and hybrid system integrations
- Provide Tier-3 support for enterprise applications and user access issues
- Document system configurations and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
- Lead cross-departmental IT projects on tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during system outages
- Public sector IT experience preferred
