Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for government projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Lead technical troubleshooting and provide expert guidance to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for stakeholders and auditors.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resources for efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis and engineering within a government or defense environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
