Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for state agency hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain server systems and databases during weekend maintenance windows.
- Respond to urgent service tickets and incidents with a focus on rapid resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular security audits and patch management updates to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the week-day team to document technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions for state agencies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or system administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during weekend shifts and holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background check.
