Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scans on federal systems to ensure compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of information security controls and access management protocols.
- Lead incident response teams to investigate, contain, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and breaches.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and briefings to senior leadership and government stakeholders regarding security posture.
- Manage security clearances for personnel and ensure adherence to OPM requirements throughout the employment lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance with current eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security or information assurance within the federal sector.
- Strong knowledge of network security architectures, encryption standards, and federal compliance regulations.
