Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure solutions for county departments.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Manage server environments, ensuring high availability, patch management, and security updates.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and deploy scalable solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local information security standards.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
