Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including firewalls and VPNs
- Lead system upgrades, patch management, and security compliance initiatives
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex server environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Document IT procedures and create disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct system performance audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Certifications in CompTIA Security+ or CISSP preferred
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
