Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT systems. This position requires a deep understanding of government compliance standards and a proactive approach to system maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure for government clients.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state security protocols (FISMA, NIST).
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting for on-premise and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and data security.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party IT service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Systems Administration or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Experience working with Federal or State government contracts is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
