Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, including patch management and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide Level 3 technical support to government staff and resolve complex system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT upgrades and migrations.
- Document all system configurations, changes, and incident reports in compliance with federal standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
