We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our immediate hiring pool. Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and server infrastructure.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with government standards and protect sensitive citizen data.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and hardware/software deployment across various departments.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity during system outages or cyber incidents.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues and manage service level agreements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent military/experience in IT.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration, preferably within the public sector or government contracting.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and network security tools.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff and stakeholders.
