Job Summary
As a Senior IT Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing complex IT systems and applications. You will serve as a technical lead, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. Your expertise will help streamline county operations and enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical system specifications and architectural designs.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise software solutions and custom applications.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and department heads.
- Conduct system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or IT support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, or related programming languages.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, PMP) are highly desirable.
