Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and databases
- Analyze business requirements to develop technical specifications for software development
- Lead system integration projects between state agencies and third-party vendors
- Conduct security audits and implement cybersecurity protocols for state data
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and department stakeholders
- Document system architecture and create disaster recovery plans
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and database management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Oklahoma State government security clearance
- Experience with government IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Professional certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
