Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex federal IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Conduct system analysis to identify requirements, formulate solutions, and implement technical strategies.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data against breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and software applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party system integrations.
- Perform regular system audits and compliance checks in accordance with federal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis or administration within a government or enterprise setting.
- Active Federal Public Trust security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of federal IT regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
