Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure and software systems in compliance with federal standards.
- Analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to safeguard sensitive federal data.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for end-users and internal departments.
- Document technical processes, configuration changes, and system architecture diagrams.
- Train junior staff members and mentor them on best practices in federal IT management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, IT project management, or a related federal role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of federal security protocols (FISMA, NIST) and compliance regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or equivalent federal security clearance.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
