Responsibilities
- Lead System Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of complex IT systems and recommend strategic improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within strict government deadlines and budgets.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical solutions adhere to federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and FISMA standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with government officials, vendors, and internal teams to translate technical jargon into actionable insights.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, protocols, and troubleshooting guides.
- Incident Response: Monitor system health and lead incident response teams during critical outages or security breaches.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT systems analysis within the government or public sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or equivalent government IT certifications are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Boston, MA (Hybrid available).
