Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system requirements and design scalable IT solutions that comply with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for government web and mobile applications.
- Perform rigorous system security assessments and vulnerability testing to maintain high standards of data protection.
- Collaborate directly with government stakeholders to translate policy requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system outages and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Document technical architecture, workflows, and compliance standards to ensure knowledge retention.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Systems Analysis or Software Engineering within the government or defense contracting sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and government procurement processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
