Responsibilities
- Analyze existing business processes and system workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Design, develop, and implement integrated IT solutions that align with Clark County's strategic goals and federal compliance standards.
- Manage the full lifecycle of database systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and high availability for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough system testing and quality assurance (QA) to minimize risk and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and developers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or large enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or Java, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with government security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
