Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of system requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of new software applications and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Perform system troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Document system architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference and training.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in systems analysis or software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, and/or Python programming languages.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain required security clearances.
