Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system architecture and development.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems, databases, and applications to support County operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal and state compliance standards, including FISMA and HIPAA.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for system outages and performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and external vendors.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, IT project management, or software engineering.
- Experience working with government contracts or public sector entities is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
