In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions that support state agencies. You will ensure system reliability, security, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/Azure).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for critical systems and end-users.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local data privacy regulations and security standards.
- Conduct system audits and performance monitoring to identify areas for optimization.
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, IT Support, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services (Azure/AWS) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
