Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex state government IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Conduct system analysis and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime for agency operations.
- Collaborate with state agencies to gather requirements and develop scalable technology solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity policies and data protection regulations.
- Manage server configurations, patch management, and database integrity.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis and IT support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background check.
