Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system design and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
- Manage system documentation, including technical manuals, process flows, and user guides, ensuring compliance with state standards.
- Conduct quality assurance testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure software stability and security.
- Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring data integrity and system availability for critical government services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related IT role within the public sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or .NET environments.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management life cycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background check and security clearance.
