Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT systems and software applications in accordance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholders, and policy makers, to define system requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant government regulations (e.g., FISMA, OMB Circulars).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
- Document system architecture, processes, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within a government or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation and security clearance.
- Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
