Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural analysis and optimization of critical government IT systems.
- Collaborate with federal and state agencies to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for internal government applications.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement data protection measures to safeguard sensitive citizen information.
- Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff members.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a government or public sector IT environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
- Experience navigating federal security clearance processes and data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
