Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot network systems, servers, and hardware during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates outside of business hours.
- Respond to Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support tickets and incidents reported by federal personnel.
- Conduct security audits and compliance checks in adherence to federal regulations (NIST/FISMA).
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over system status and unresolved issues.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance or willingness to undergo a government background investigation.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or system engineering.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night hours.
