Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal networks and systems.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA and other federal regulations.
- Manage and configure server environments, including Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar technical roles.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GS-7 or higher on the Federal Interagency Career Transition Program (ICTAP) list.
- Strong proficiency in network administration, system administration, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
