Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Ensure full compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and other federal security standards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Lead incident response efforts and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
- Document technical processes and maintain detailed system logs.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
