Responsibilities
- Manage municipal infrastructure assessments and rehabilitation projects for roads, bridges, and public utilities
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with NYC building codes and federal regulations
- Lead community engagement sessions for infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues on-site
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgets, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with emergency management teams during infrastructure crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal infrastructure project management experience
- New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS mapping systems, and project management software
- Demonstrated knowledge of NYC Local Laws 22/2015 (Sustainable Infrastructure Act)
- Valid New York State driver's license
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification preferred
