Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end processing of pension applications, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of benefits.
- Ensure strict compliance with ERISA regulations, IRS guidelines, and state-specific pension laws.
- Conduct regular audits of pension records to identify discrepancies and mitigate financial risk.
- Act as a primary point of contact for retirees and stakeholders, providing detailed explanations of pension calculations and benefits.
- Collaborate with the IT department to maintain and update pension database systems.
- Prepare monthly reports on pension fund performance and administrative metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or government financial services.
- Deep understanding of retirement plan structures, actuarial science principles, and government regulations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access) and ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Note: While this position is based in Atlanta, we are open to candidates based in Florida or willing to relocate to the Atlanta area.
Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to retirees regarding benefit inquiries and calculations.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records within the department's database systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in pension administration or government benefits management.
- In-depth knowledge of retirement plan laws, government regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for government training if required.
