Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension benefit claims and retirement applications with high accuracy.
- Conduct detailed audits of pension records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in member account balances and contribution records.
- Manage and update member data within the state pension management system during night operations.
- Communicate complex pension information clearly to members via phone and correspondence.
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to ERISA and state laws.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pension administration, government benefits, or financial compliance.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
