Responsibilities
- Process and verify complex pension benefit applications and retirement calculations for eligible state employees.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in the State Pension Fund.
- Respond to high-volume inquiries from retirees and employees regarding pension eligibility and benefit distribution.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Department to ensure all state regulations and IRS guidelines are met.
- Perform regular audits of pension records to identify discrepancies and prevent fraud.
- Train junior staff on pension calculation software and state government procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or government finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work effectively during Night Shift hours and handle high-pressure situations.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
