Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging policy trends to inform state legislative priorities
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation frameworks for agency leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental stakeholder engagement and consensus-building
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Ohio's operations
- Prepare testimony and supporting documents for legislative hearings
- Lead data-driven projects using statistical analysis and performance metrics
- Maintain compliance with Ohio Administrative Code requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government policy analysis or public sector roles
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing legislative proposals and policy frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Ohio state government operations and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- Professional certification (e.g., CPPA, CPAP) preferred
