Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate municipal policies across housing, sustainability, and economic development sectors
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare comprehensive briefings for city council members
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives with 15+ agency partners
- Manage $2M+ grant programs for community infrastructure projects
- Present findings to public stakeholders through quarterly town halls
- Maintain compliance with California Public Records Act requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal government or policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Valid California driver's license
- PHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) reviews
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required
